Member's Agreement

Believing that I am called as an ambassador for Jesus Christ, and it is His desire to use the arts and music for His own glory, I would like to become a member of the Council for Accountability of Ministers of Music and the Arts (CAMMA).

I accept the Bible as the inerrant Word of God, and as the final standard of all faith and conduct, and I have read and I am in agreement with CAMMA's Statement of Faith. I have also read and will maintain a copy of The Overview of Guidelines and the CAMMA Mission Statement. I am currently a member in good standing with a Bible-believing local church, and I also contribute a tithe portion of the increase of my wealth to the work of the Lord. As a CAMMA member, my pastor (or other appointed church leader) and I will meet at least one time monthly for personal accountability and discipleship. In turn, I agree to seek to enrich and disciple others in their walk with Jesus Christ, as I have been so enriched and discipled by others.

I understand that the intervention or counseling assistance of the CAMMA Executive Council is available to me in matters of church discipline, matters of reconciliation of relationships, or restoration to service should any difficulty of that nature arise during my CAMMA membership. I also understand that my pastor or church may also request such assistance from CAMMA, and hereby agree that I am open to the resolution of any such conflict according to biblical principles should such a conflict arise.

I understand my membership is renewable on a yearly basis, and I authorize CAMMA the right to freely declare that I am or am not a member should this information be requested by a party interested in my work or ministry. I understand that I also have the right to inform interested parties of my CAMMA membership as an indication of my voluntary adherence to the CAMMA member guidelines. I understand that I may resign this membership by contacting CAMMA in writing.

Pastor / Church Leader Agreement

I understand that the CAMMA applicant recognizes a calling as an ambassador for Jesus Christ in the area of arts and music, and it is his/her desire to become a member of the Council for Accountability of Ministers of Music and the Arts (CAMMA). I understand that CAMMA is an organization that believes in the inerrancy of the Word of God, and that the Bible is the final standard for all faith and conduct. I have read and I am in agreement with CAMMA's Statement of Faith. I have also read and will maintain a copy of The Overview of Guidelines and the CAMMA Mission Statement.

I confirm ___________________________________ that is currently a member or in good standing with our Bible-believing church, and that I will meet at least one time monthly for his/her personal accountability and discipleship.

I understand that the intervention or counseling assistance of the CAMMA Executive Council is available to CAMMA members in matters of church discipline, matters of reconciliation of relationships, or restoration to service should any difficulty of that nature arise during this CAMMA membership. I also understand that at my own discretion I may also request this assistance from CAMMA, and hereby agree that I am open to the resolution of any such conflict according to biblical principles should such a conflict arise.

I agree to contact CAMMA in writing should the Member no longer be qualified for membership in CAMMA, or should the responsibility of pastoral care be transferred to another person.

The CAMMA member, in addition to the member's pastor will receive a quarterly newsletter from CAMMA. Members will be listed in our database as people who voluntarily adhere to CAMMA Guidelines for Membership. Any CAMMA member may have a brief paragraph description of their work on the CAMMA web site, and also a link to his/her own web site where people may go for more information about their work or ministry. CAMMA members may also request assistance from the Executive Council in matters described on the membership application. The yearly cost of a membership is U.S. $25. Outside the United States, please add $5 to cover the cost of extra postage. Please make checks or money orders payable to Arts for Relief and Missions/ CAMMA.
