Statement of Faith
Arts for Relief and Missions and CAMMA are made up of Christians
from a diversity of denominations and theological perspectives who
share a vision for and commitment to obeying the Cultural Mandate
of Genesis 1:26-28 and the Great Commission of Matthew 28:18-20.
We believe that the transformation of the arts and music are an
integral part of the transformation of our culture.
Statement of Faith: While
our Executive Council, our Boards of Directors and Advisors and
our members come from a diversity of denominational backgrounds,
together with the historic church, both the
Nicene Creed, the Apostles Creed, and
the Definition of Chalcedon express our
fundamental agreement in matters of faith.
We also affirm these foundational documents:
We affirm The
Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy and The
Chicago Statement on Biblical Hermeneutics as modern, historical
statements of the view of the Bible held by the Christian Church
for 2,000 years, as well as by Jesus and all the biblical authors.
We affirm the 42
Articles of the Essentials of a Christian World View, believing
that no doctrinal statement of the past 200 years offers the greater
Body of Christ on earth a more detailed, comprehensive, generic
statement of the Biblical world view.
We affirm the Articles
of Affirmation and Denial on the Kingdom of God demonstrate
that the Kingdom of God, as it impacts society during this present
age, is "a central teaching of the New Testament and cannot be neglected
without loss to the Church and the Church's influence on society."
We affirm that no revival or reformation of the Church or society,
of any depth or longevity, can happen until the leadership of the
Body of Christ commits itself to living and teaching the kind of
Biblical Christianity called for by A
Manifesto for the Christian Church.
